Hello! I am Kalaylah and I am currently based in Rock Hill, South Carolina near Charlotte, North Carolina. I hold a B.A. in Theatre with a minor in Educational Studies and a Master in the Arts of Teaching from Winthrop University. I was born and raised on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the Island of the Gullah-Geechee community, the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and the beautifully sunny beach! I have learned that my ancestors have paved a way for me to freely express myself in my art form. My goal as an artist and educator is to inspire social change in others through the art of theatre.
